Viper’s Kiss is a very hot, tantalizing and breathtaking read It’s very engaging and mesmerizing.

I like how the things starts off with the main characters and how they developed from not friendly with each other to lovers.

I also like the element of danger and forbidden love in this story, and who would not like a hero to call their own?

One would have to have a heart of stone to not like this book. I enjoyed this very much and I highly recommend this book to all thriller-romance lovers.

I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Carina Press via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book.

Book description:

Librarian Maggie Kincaid yearns for excitement-but being accused of espionage is not what she had in mind. Wanted by the police, the FBI and the criminal element, Maggie goes on the run-and runs straight into sexy Luke Fletcher. Unfortunately, when Luke pulls out the handcuffs, it’s not because he has something kinky in mind…

Security expert Luke is intent on seeing the murderous spy known only as Viper brought to justice. The un-spy-like behavior of his fugitive makes him suspect he’s apprehended the wrong woman. Just as they give in to lust, new evidence convinces Luke that Maggie’s not as innocent as she claims to be.

Devastated by Luke’s inability to trust her, Maggie runs again. She’s determined to clear her name, and if that means tracking down a notorious spy even Interpol can’t seem to locate, then that’s exactly what she’ll do…

I you ask me to describe this book, I’d say it’s slow and steady, but concrete. I like how the author put this story together. It’s rather inspiring, though at some point of the story, I wish the main characters just will get down to business and get intimate with each other without further ado.

Very inspiring, dramatic and memorable. i enjoyed reading this book very much and I don’t think I would mind reading this book anothtime in the future.

This is a nice story, but I feel that there’s quite a lot of unnecessary things in this book. First of all, the story was not exactly realistic, but considering that this is a Harlequin book, I can forgive that, cuz Harlequin books are supposed to be unbelievable and seductive, but then again, this story fell too far away from reality. I was very disappointed with the female character. Despite of her strong will, she succumbed to culture way too easily in the beginning of the story. I couldn’t actually grasps that, considering that she’s only half Arabic and she grew up in the Western world before discovering that she’s a princess in a small  Arabian country.

At some point, i got rather annoyed with the Arabic that has been used in the story. I find that rather unnecessary, but overall, this book is still a good read nevertheless.

This is quite an unforgettable story. I love the character’s dynamics, love the pace, and definitely love the blazing passion portrayed in this story. Truth be told, I am not a Cowboy story fan. I don’t usually read cowboy stories, even if it’s a romance or an adult fiction, but I feel that I could definitely read this book over and over again without feeling bored.

Passionate, witty and very descriptive setting. Quite a keeper. I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Harlequin via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book.

The Man She Loves To Hate

Pub Date: 26 July 2011

ISBN: 9780373528271

Somehow, this book does not really work well with me even though I fell in love with the settings where the hero and heroine got trapped together in the snow and whatnot.

It’s a wonderful book, don’t get me wrong.  This book provides everything a hopeless romantic could ask for. A wonderful form of escapism where one… or a few nights in the sheets turns pure hatred to lust, then love.

I just find it hard to believe… and the pace was rather slow for me. Wonderful book, but not for me.

I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Harlequin via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book.

It Couldn’t Just Happen

If you’re a Christian parents and you want to raise a Christian child, this book will definitely be useful for you as it has the answer to most of your children’s curiosity on bible facts and whatnot. Tis book explained the Christian views of Big Bang and whatnot in a way that young children could grasps and understand.

This is a definitely good tool for Christian parents who will definitely encounter a few ‘How, when, why, what, who’ question during children’s growing up times.

This book is wonderfully researched and well organized. Highly recommended to Christian parents as well as teachers alike. It can also be used during Sunday classes.

No doubt, online Christian colleges and schools of religion in general
would
place this book in their libraries.

Pub Date: 8 Nov 2011

ISBN: 9781599559063

Author: Melissa Lemon

I’m not quite sure how I should review this book, Cinder and Ella by Melissa Lemon. I rendered me speechless… in a very good way that is. I enjoyed the unexpected twist to an age old fairy tale.

Loved the way the opening salvo was written and absolutely love the supernatural element to this story.

The book is a keeper, and if you’re bored of the age old story where the young women left her glass slipper at a ball and found her happily ever after, then you should definitely read this book.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I received a digital ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.I was not compensated in any ways for writing this review.

After their father’s disappearance, Cinder leaves home for a servant job at the castle. But it isn’t long before her sister Ella is brought to the castle herself—the most dangerous place in all the kingdom for both her and Cinder. Cinder and Ella is a Cinderella story like no other and one you’ll never forget.

A Reluctant Queen

A Reluctant Queen by Joan Wolf is a romanticized story of Esther, the biblical queen of Persia whose bravery, courage and faith and inspired the life of many modern women today.

It was beautifully written and very romantic too. However, if you’re looking for something that’s completely walk hand in hand with The Book of Esther in the bible, this is not for you.

I think this book, A Reluctant Queen is to be enjoyed completely as a fiction and not a biography or a memoir.

The story of Esther is pretty well researched and told in modern English language, making it very easy to understand the intrigue of the ancient Persian court.

If I were to rate this book, I’d give it a 3 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Thomas Nelson publisher as a part of their blogger reviewer program.

Premonitions

” But for now, it’s time I rectified my mistakes. No more crying, and no more wasting my feelings on unfeeling brutes.”

Sometimes, I get goosebumps when I read my old works. Thinking back, my writings are almost a premonition of my life in the future. It made me wonder if my subconscious mind is trying to tell me something? Or I’m living the life of my creations?

Cleffairy: If my writings are premonitions of what shall be, then I think I really should feel scared.
